About · 光今
Hellowabi began as a single book — close to a decade of notes from Okinawa, Kyoto, Kyushu, and the mountain communities of Nagano, gathered into eighteen chapters about how to live a longer, quieter life.
It has slowly grown into something larger. A small shop of one-of-one vintage wear sourced across Kyushu. A handful of digital field guides written from lived experience. A journal of long-form essays. All of it carried with the same patience the book asks of its readers.
We're based in Beppu, the home of onsen, and we ship from there. Nothing here is mass produced. Most things are one-of-one. New work appears when it's ready — not before.
Slowly curated. Quietly carried.
